Microstructural analysis of food intake as a behavioral endpoint to determine the effect of chronic gastric electrical stimulation on the consumption of a high fat diet by adult male Sprague-Dawley rats.
This study aims to evaluate the effects of cervical VNS on gastric motility in rats. The aim is to selectively activate or block the afferent pathway to disentangle their differential effects on gastric responses.
We used MRI to map gastric electrical activation following meal consumption. Manganese ions were used as a surrogate of calcium ions to map the increase of calcium influx, presumably into smooth muscle cells.

Microstructural analysis of food intake was used as a behavioral endpoint to determine the effect of chronic gastric electrical stimulation on the consumption of a 45% high fat diet by adult female Sprague-Dawley rats.
This study aims to evaluate the effects of GES settings on neural activity in rats NTS. Briefly, multi-unit activity is recorded in the nucleus of the solitary tract in rats.

Datasets from single cell sequencing of murine stellate ganglion neurons retrogradely labeled with cholera toxin B injections into the brown adipose tissue or forelimb
Comparison of cuff, microelectrode, and intrafascicular electrode to make evoked compound action potential (ECAP) and naturally occurring activity recordings from the peripheral nervous system. Dataset from pigs (n=3) - a human-scale large animal model.
We used immunohistochemistry to visualize the expression of molecular markers in stellate ganglia from mice and human. Data consist of images (CZI format) of SG cryosections stained with antibodies combinations, acquired with a Zeiss 710 microscope.
The generated body scaffold was fitted to data and the organ fiducial markers were embedded in the rat whole-body. The landmarks were obtained from image data and also were defined in the body scaffold.
The generated body scaffold was fitted to data and the organ fiducial markers were embedded in the mouse whole-body. The landmarks were obtained from segmenting MRI data and also were defined in the body scaffold.
This aims to characterize gastric motility and emptying patterns in healthy human subjects and gastroparetic patients by using 4D contrast-enhanced MRI.
Partial dataset from published manuscript of same title. Dataset includes intracellular recordings from control and diabetic mouse intrinsic cardiac neurons and stellate ganglion neurons.
